Senior School

Regent Indian School offers the Senior School Programme under Indian Curriculum through NIOS as a Private Candidate. The Indian government founded NIOS, or the National Institute of Open Schooling, as a National Board. In order to meet the needs of a diverse range of students up to the pre-degree level, NIOS is an “Open School.” The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) launched it as a project with built-in flexibility in 1979. The National Policy on Education recommended strengthening the Open School System in 1986 in order to gradually expand open learning opportunities at the secondary level throughout the nation as a separate system with its own curriculum and certification-granting exams.

UNESCO and the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) are partners with NIOS. Additionally, it has study centers for Indian expats in the United States of America, Canada, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Nepal, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
